JCG Enterprises LLC is a Boston-area firm that connects investment managers with sources of capital. This website at jcgent.com is the firm's public site. Questions about this policy can be sent through the contact page.

When you use the contact form, we collect what you type: your name, firm, work email, phone number and firm website if you give them, and your message.

When you submit the form, our systems also record your IP address, your browser's identifier, the time of submission, and the result of an automated bot check. We use these to tell real inquiries from automated spam.

Reading the site does not require an account and does not ask for personal information.

To read your inquiry and respond to it. To keep a record of who has contacted us and what was discussed, so we can follow up properly. To protect the site from spam and abuse.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Inquiries are stored in a database on the firm's web host and emailed to the people at JCG Enterprises who handle new inquiries. Access is limited to the firm's team.

The service providers that process this data on our behalf are our web hosting provider, Cloudflare (which delivers the site and provides the bot check on the form), and the email delivery service that sends the inquiry notification. Each provider sees only what it needs to perform its service.

This site uses cookies that are necessary for it to work: a security cookie set by Cloudflare as part of the bot check on the contact form, and a session cookie for users who sign in to the private portal.

We may also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are read and how visitors arrive. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and collects information in aggregate; we do not use it to identify individuals, and we do not use advertising cookies. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out browser add-on, and the site will still work.

We keep inquiries for as long as they are useful to the conversation they started, and then for a reasonable period for our records. You can ask us to correct or delete your information at any time through the contact page, and we will do so unless we have a legal reason to keep it.

The site is served over HTTPS. Stored inquiries are kept on a password-protected system with access limited to the firm's team. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
